Last night I went to The Gangster's Ball with Dane, Robert & gf, and Evelyn & friends at The Forum theatre on Flinders St. It's basically a public party with a live swing band, cabaret and burlesque acts, as well as bars (one on either side, one upstairs), table gaming (poker, roulette, etc.), a dance floor for everyone, prizes, and merch stall upstairs. It was pretty cool and very inexpensive for a night of live shows. I wouldn't mind going again next year! ^^
In other news, Dane has a new kitten called Cassy. Although, I'd like to call her Gremlin because she sort of looks and acts like one. She is black with blue eyes. She sat on me and hiccuped, snuggled, curled up and slept, nommed on my fingers. Nyawww... Cute kitty.
